  • @Amon-Sul I’m afraid that you can’t land in korea without a surface warship. You can ignore the sub and land but scrambling planes might activate it

  • Rulebook says: “However, a transport is not
    allowed to offload land units for an amphibious assault in a sea zone containing 1 or more ignored enemy submarines unless at least 1 warship belonging to the attacking power is also present in the sea zone at the end of the Combat Move phase.”
    A submarine is a warship, so it fulfils the requirement.

  • @Amon-Sul I think there is nothing japan could have done before, so I’m fine. I’m just wondering why I failed the rule (I alsways thought that a surface warship has to attend the transpiort when there is a sub.
    But it seems that I’m wrong.
    So my sub will submerge in 6 and you can go on
