Re: scramble for sub/transports. That’s what I thought the rule was, but the game asked for a scramble option so I thought maybe something had changed since I played last. It hadn’t come up in @mikawagunichi 's game.

I concede, good game! I can’t recover from losing the fleet like that.
Quite the interesting game with maneuvers on both sides to try to get the advantage in the middle 20 turns of the game. You defended Europe well and I could only be annoying to give Russia breathing room, until your miss that got Germany taken. If you maxed Germany’s defense you could have gotten the odds down to 15% for the US attack, which is what I thought you’d do.
Apart from this latest mistake I made, I think I didn’t handle the Pacific well after bringing the Atlantic fleet in, and eventually Japan was able to rebuild a matching fleet. Also South Africa was quite annoying haha.

A very unusual game without UK and Italy most of the game.
I was feeling confident in Europe the last part of the game and was taken by surprise when I blundered W.Eur away. Lucky for me that I had kept my units in N.Italy in round 34 so I could retake Germany again.
