Modified 1914 Map As Follows-
- Unique Infantry graphic assigned per player
- Map text corrected to read “Galicia” instead of “Calicia”
- Flags added as reminders for aligned Neutral capitals
- Convoy graphic added as reminder for submarine warfare SZs 2, 7, and 8
- The coastal_artillery unit was originally assigned 2 hit points and given the ability to self-repair. However, since repairs only happen in the purchase phase and the Contested player doesn’t have this phase, this ability never worked. This is now removed and instead the coastal_attacker unit has attack and defense of 0. The game will warn you that such units are likely to die when you end the combat move phase, just select the “done moving” option
- Box 9 for the coastal_artillery units is changed to “Convoy” to support submarine economic warfare. Place the correct number of convoy_hunter units in this box (owned by Contested player) to represent all German subs in SZs 2, 7, and 8 during the AH and Ottoman turns to get the game to roll the correct number of dice and then edit the USA and UK IPC counts accordingly as hits are scored. Place the “coastal_attacker” unit in this box to trigger the dice rolling
- Use a “coastal_attacker” for each side to honor the Russian Revolution rules in territories that are permanently contested. They won’t be able to kill each other off so the territory can remain contested without having to constantly update it

Forgot to add to this list, that although the victory conditions work correctly the player notifications were not set up correctly. This is fixed so that the notification pop-up now appears when one side or the other has won the game. Previously the game would just continue with no indications that anyone had achieved victory.

@The_Good_Captain I get errors when I open the saved game file. Did you play and save it under my map or the original map? When I launch the game the correct map graphics are not there. If I take out the original map’s folder from the downloadedMaps folder and just leave my edited set in there then the game doesn’t launch at all, some sort of error notification goes off but the pop-up goes away on its own before you can even read the error message.
Try making sure only my map’s folder is in your downloadedMaps folder and then see if you can load the saved game yourself. If so, save it again and repost.

@Eqqman I played it and saved it under your map. I know this bc I got error messages saying there was a missing graphic for subs and something else. I played it anyway and posted. I tried your suggestion of removing the 1914 original map and opening the file but it didnt work and instead prompted me to download 1914 from the server.

@The_Good_Captain Alright, I guess we’ll have to start over with the base version. I went and downloaded the version I posted in this thread and launched a game; all the graphics are correct there so it’s a puzzle about what is allegedly missing for you. Shame to waste a good naval drubbing!

The “Convoy” graphic was the last thing I added, so if the Atlantic looks like this then all the images should actually be there. If the map doesn’t look like this for you then I’m probably going to tap out with trying to assist in any TripleA development. I’ve had numerous issues with the game caching too much so the latest map updates aren’t always loaded and it’s a nightmare trying to figure out what directories are currently being used when a map loads. Even the development team couldn’t tell me how to make the file locations in the Java scripting more explicit. Just one of the many issues I’ve had with the source code. -

@The_Good_Captain I’m using 2.6.14615 solely since two other players were doing that. Not clear to me why people want to use the unstable releases instead of the last stable one, but there you go. I’ll see if I can match you but then I guess I have to tell it to install in a different directory or my other games will get spoiled.
