  • I think the ab in Gib is a very good resource. Just don’t lose it. Should be rather safe with US-support.

    I don’t know what I was doing during J. It’s a kind of standard opening for me, these first 3 turns, but maybe I was put off by the opportunity to DOW on Russia. I usually don’t do that for obvious reasons.

    I changed my buy from the des, to the tr, which I really need for J3. I hope you’re ok with that. If not, I’ll have to adjust.

    I’m not ok with changing purchases after combat. I’m fine with changing purchases if you have zero combat moves, or have no fighting (dice rolling) in the combat moves. Sorry!

    It will be interesting to see whether invading Russia is a good idea, I’m skeptical.

    Yes, it is still a very marginal battle for me as you have a good counter-attack. But my position is to take fights that are even just a tiny bit in my favor (so long as they aren’t too big - and this one is almost a bit too big). And the TUV is pretty good (especially when you add the benefit of getting rid of the infantry and two transports if I win).

    Unfortunately this is the kind of fight that could swing the game by 30 IPCs either way.
