Hey,
Anyone who knows the Axis and Allies CD-Rom game, knows that the IRON BLITZ edition is extremely rare.
Fortunately, I just scrounged up a mint condition copy. Infact, I intervened at the point of fisticuffs to save it from being destroyed!
I already have one, so this one’s for sale to another collector.
If you’re an interested party, send me a PM.
And no I’m not looking for a million dollars, I’m mostly concerned about it going to a good home.
My favourite quote from the box!
“World peace is under threat of permanent extinction”
@Gargantua Is this game still up for grabs, or am I many years too late?
Well… in the last 8 years I have moved probably 5 times…
I can’t confirm if the box is still intact… or if I still have it. But I would wager good chances that I do.
Moving into an apartment forced alot of my good stuff into my storage… it will take some time to investigate!
@Gargantua When you do have the time, please try to find out, I would love to ad this game to my A&A collection :)
Well good sir - it will be some effort. Do you have a price in mind that suits your fancy?
It may be that the value coincides directly with how much time I can invest in this liberation!
@Gargantua Cheers mate ;) I honestly have no idea, I guess it will also depend on the condition of both the box and disc… But I am thinking something in the line of 50 dollars US including shipping to Denmark?
My memory is clearing… a box inside a box, inside a box, destined for great things. Yes it’s all coming to me now…
I know where to begin the search this evening!
@Gargantua Very good sir, happy hunting :) and return safely… I hope it will be a success…
@Gargantua Any news from the hunt good sir?
Hey Buddy.
So I have hit a few locations… but nothing yet. Going to try to get into the motherlode tomorrow. Apologies but you caught me at the beginning of my 4 10’s shift + commute, when I don’t have much spare time :) the weekend will be more generous!
@Gargantua No worries, a couple of days or even weeks is a small wait compared to how long I have been looking for the game, so whenever you have the time to look is perfectly fine :)
Well well well. I looked the last place I could possibly think of, in my 1941 edition box
And what do you know - A MINT, GOOD AS NEW copy of Iron Blitz! Still shiny!
Confirming the IRON BLITZ CD is also included
What a fine piece of Axis and Alliesanary!
@Gargantua What a gem… Thank you for finding it… Can you please contact me at my email for further details?

So I’m part of an elite club?? Cool.
Incredible collection, AAdude
Haven’t played Iron Blitz for a long time, but played several minutes with the original last week because I’m moving, and sorting through my things (decided which computer to throw out).
I have an old computer so I can still play these. Anyway, from Blitz I remember the Cold War scenario which is very cool, and I like the music for each power, and the end of round graphs and headlines. Now if only someone would play with me.
