This is what i have so far… i ask the Portuguese or Spanish speaking from general community to locate a source to buy these that will ship to USA.
This game kicks arse!

I’ve just read at the rules: it seems to be little else than a roman empire version of risk (with objective cards telling to buy regions, etc.)

yes i will promptly throw that in the fireplace.
New rules:
card driven movement
Legions attack and defend at 1 move 1
Cavalry attack and defend at 2 move 2
Catapults attack and defend at 2 or possibly 3 on the first round, move 1-2 they hit preemtively on first round.I will add leaders by cards
random events by cardsreinforcements structure:
legions cost 1
Cavalry cost 2
Catapults cost 3count up territories you control and this is your income basis.
Cards will allow free units to appear including cards for elephants, mercenaries, etc…
I will use ships from other games and create sea zones, including weather zones where the ships may sink and lose cargo.
It will be great. Just wait a few.

yes its basically risk, but a different map and dynamics. You need to house rules the thing to make it fun.

In terms of pieces and map, it looks pretty much the same as what you get in Conquest of the Empire; I think the Eagle Games edition is still pretty widely available…
I play it like this:
Infantry attack at 2, defend at 3
Cavalry attack at 4, defend at 2 and have a 2 movement
Artillery attack at 3, defend at 5 and have a preemptive attackSince I use CotE components, I use the income system from it, along with the cities, fortresses and roads and leaders
(and then I have 2 expansion levels beyond this by adding assorted other components)
