Just how sexy is a Sd222? … 7TP tank, too.


  • My answer: When done in beat up desert tan - very!
       For this one, I used my new secret weapon for the base coat (sorry, top secret). Then I inked it with brown and black ink. Then damp-brushed with Khaki. Then I smudged some spots with rusty brown, and did the details. Added rust drips from corners of hatches and such. I added some dark grey chips and knicks along the edges, and then added the final dry-brush of bone white, but very lightly.
       I used the same method on the 7TP, except extra steps of drybrushing for the camo. The 7TP has a photo-etched engine vent cover added over a balsa add-on hull. I got it with the balsa already on, and all I have to do was putty it. I found some great left-over etched brass vent details from a dragon kit, and it was perfect size.

  • Ok buddy I just got back a whole horde of allied tanks painted for AA Revised. I sent the Axis to the painter ( 180 pieces)

    But i got completed 106 allied tanks and assorted items. Ill post tonight.
