• So, just curious.  Between Switch and a few other fanatics who always open games they are playing here also on DAAK and only report those games closed when they win, I’ve gotten closer and closer to 0 points there.  I never actually use DAAK.  They pissed me off when their dicey kept scoring 100% hits with AA Guns (the straw that broke my back is when I attacked and the AA Gun hit 14 out of 14 times in a single battle.)

So what happens when you hit zero?  I never go there, so I never report any wins there.  I don’t use my record there.  I’ve considered just deleting my account there, just dunno if it’s even possible, and if it is, if I care enough to even go do it. :P

    Anyone know?

  • (the straw that broke my back is when I attacked and the AA Gun hit 14 out of 14 times in a single battle.)

ROFL! -70 IPCs of units instantly,  :? :-o :-(   :|

  • Yeah I was told earlier on when I first started playing I had to sign up with DAAK but have yet to use it I think. I think I downloaded abattlemap from there and that was it. Frood supplies everything we need I think plus the inhouse dicey is very convenient.
I noticed Saburi Sabiko is holding a touney in January as well. It would be good if we could somehow join the 2 or persuade him and the other gamers on that site to join our Tourney and League for that matter to bolster our already growing numbers even more.

  • Saburi Sakai is his name wrong spelling just going off memory.

  • Yea, Saburu (aka Conrad) is hosting a lot of tournaments, but they are all at AAMC.

And, Bean, check your math.  14 hits with the AA Guns was minimum 140 IPC, but there were 3 bombers in that mix, so it was actually 155 IPC and the battle that was lost in opening fire. Frazzin……

Anyway, they use Frood now, I understand.  But I never actually go there.  Some people like to use my record from there as a slander against me when I post a theory, but the record there is so HOPELESSLY skewed since no one ever reports a win for me there and I never go there to actually report wins or losses.  I never use the frazzin site.

I resent that false accusation Jen.

I have recorded every game possible at DAAK, though a few games I have played recently have been against people with no DAAK ID (Imtdconv as an example).

You closed a game as a remiss when you resigned. :P

Not exactly a false accusation, Switch.

Since we’ve only had three games, 1 out of 3 is 33% of the time you remiss a game against me on DAAK when you quit.

  • We have had that discussion…

    1.  It was a Test Game (unrated game at DAAK).
    2.  It was to be a KJF test, and I had all 3 nations swarming Germany and a nearly vacant Pacific.

Yes, I closed it as a remiss…  A test game that did not test what was intended, nor was it played to completion due to TripleA errors (the stuck TRN issue).

Or do I need to go find your own quotes regarding the fact that it was a TEST game and post them here?

If you REALLY want the game, I’ll be happy to create another unrated game at DAAK for you and close it out as a win for you if you really want me to.  But again, as a test game and not a rated game, it will not change your points…

  • It was a KJF game and you had TWO nations swarming you.

Unless 1 Infantry, 1 Artillery from America on Germany counts as a “swarm.”

Because just about everything else from America was in the Pacific.  You had a bad counter strategy for the declared KJF and instead of just admitting it, you decided to remiss. (We all know if you had won you would have declared it a win for your record.)

  • If I had finished and won, I would have recorded it as a win, but zero DAAK points since it was set up as an unrated game.

Had we finished and had you won, I would have recorded it as a loss, again with no DAAK points since it was an unrated test game.

It was non-League, so no points in that regard.

  • Yea, not sure how DAAK runs things other then FUBAR anyway.  Just find it hilarious people still open games simultaniously with people on multiple servers so if they get a win they can record it a dozen or so times (exaggeration of course, more like 2 or 3 times) to artificially inflate their game standings.

Anyway, I count it as a win because you resigned. :P  2 Losses, 1 Win against you now. :P

  • I’ll go and mark it the same way at DAAK, just for you dear.

And FYI:  I only ever count a game once, I just duplicate my record listing in both my sig file and at DAAK (though truth be told, with all the new players that do not have a DAAK ID, and with Dan’s dicey being so much easier to access, I am probably going to get pretty sloppy about recording games at DAAK.  I already have a few that I cannot record there…

  • The first one I created was rated, so I had to remiss that one.

The second I created correctly and marked you as having the win.

I’ll even update my sig file to show it as a loss…

  • Thanks, I feel better. :P  Sorry, just felt cheated, not because you didn’t finish the game, but because you are one of the better players on the site and I did corner you. (I know you felt pissy too because you didn’t expect my Russians and British to not only come on that strong but be successfully at it.  That’s not my normal game play. :P  America was a non-entity in that game.  All fleet, no fight!)

Anyway, dunno why DAAK is even around anymore, honestly. :P
