Try using FF.
Would if I could. The extension is .tsvg. I’ll try a different file here and see if it makes a difference.
And no I didn’t have any other tabs open. IE6 doesn’t support multiple tabs

Ever since the forum software upgrade (I think), I’ve been getting an error when trying to post an attachment (tripleA game file). Actually, it’s not an error at all. As soon as I hit the post button, it just closes my browser window right down. When I open a new window and come back to the site, I see that the post was successfully submitted, attachment and all. But I’m pretty sure it’s happened every time I’ve submitted an attachment to a post since the software upgrade. Anyone else getting this problem?
This could also explain the TripleA posting error every time it automatically posts since the software upgrade.
Dave, any thoughts on this? I’m using Internet Explorer 6.0.
Problem identified: building fighters onto existing carriers.
TripleA does not allow you to place a fighter on an existing carrier. If you
Thanks for Gamer for detecting this bug.
Outside Lime, I believe the way you are playing it is like the classic rules. Attacking subs get first strike but defending subs don’t. Thus in a sub-on-sub the attacker has first strike advantage in classic. Not the case in revised.
My brother got it for Christmas and I played it twice over the holidays. It’s a great game. Dunno about any variations though.
Usually the system that starts high and works down is not giving money to play the allies, but rather taking money to play the axis. ie. Alice will play the axis for 10IPC. Bob will play the axis for 8 IPC. Bob gets the Axis when Alice refuses to go lower.
Yes, Craig is right. The subs both get to fire. Opening fire casualties are simultaneous. Regular fire casualties are simulataneous.
If the allies want Africa, there’s not a damn thing the Axis can do about it. Of course, if the Allies want Africa that bad, it’s quite possible they will have left themselves weak somewhere else (Europe/Asia?) and the Axis may be able to exploit that to great success.
Just change your avatar back to that naked guy doing the Karate Kid Crane - we’ll know who it is then!
Yeah, the edit mode is still in it’s infancy. I think the eventual idea is to make an edit mode that would be pretty much as versatile as editing a map in ABattlemap (ie. just add or delete or move as many units from whatever territory to whatever territory). Then you could just easily edit the map to the current state and start from there. It might be a little way off though.
Sure, it’s a quirky website function. And I wanted to discuss it. That’s why.
Yes. Follow these steps:
That should do it.
I checked yours out. Good stuff. For me, frood.net/aacalc is nice because it doesn’t just give you the most likely result, but rather all possible results by percentage. Great stuff.
Yep, all combat moves are made before combat dice are rolled. Even though each combat is rolled sequentially, they are understood to happen all at the same time. Your friend is right. This time.
Sounds like someone was playing axis at the time…
BD, you got no excuses now!!!
Yeah, I figured that out afterwards
Maybe I should report you :-P
