I say my my tanks hit on 2-4 instead of 3 or less. You dont hear me or somehow miss understand or one of us forget b4 the battle is over. This could lead to a heated argument when i hit with 4s. So like i said…it works in theory. How it works out in real life is more complicated. Better to kiss. Keep it simple.

Forget about 41. Just buy 42 and enjoy. 41 and 42 have the same game mechanics but 41 has less unit types and less territories. This and the corresponding shorter play time is what makes it “better for beginners”. 41 has 8 unit types and 42 has 10. Simpler, but not by much. Get 42 and be happy knowing you got a better game with more pieces that will take longer to get stale.

The “search” above is the command to start the google search.I read somewhere in this forum that only certain levels of donors have the good search function. I assumed this would be taken care of with the new software since dj shoehorned the first announcement in a discussion concerning this same search bar issue

My feeling is that some users are distracted by the Google searchbar, that gives “suboptimal” results.
The more elaborated “Search” function to be found in the menu does not appear to be very well known (and used).The more elaborate search function is missing on most peoples pages. We only have the crappy google one.

The planes had a landing zone ( on carrier) during combat move. This is required and is shown in original question. The kamikaze is the first step in combat phase. It does take place before dice are rolled, but it is not part of combat move phase. Therefore the planes demonstrated a valid lz on carrier then attack japan then carrier sunk then planes die during or after combat….unless you move another carrier into sz during ncm.

Thats it right there…a lot of realism is sacrificed for ease of play.
Personally, i think global is complex enough and long enough without this add on. I must admit, it is an interesting and simple mod.
