Indeed. Actually you need the errata in case you own an older/outdated print of the second edition rulebook. But in that case you are fine with updating the rulebook itself.
Clarification On Dutch
-
In reading the various posts on what the UK and Anzac can or cannot due in respect to Dutch territories BEFORE being at war with Japan, I found myself a bit confused.
Here is what I think I know:
1) UK/Anzac CAN land troops and take over.
2) UK/Anzac CAN NOT land planes only
3) Once UK/Anzac have taken a Dutch territory with land units, then they could land planes. Is all of this correct?
Thank you
-
Yes, all this is correct
-
Incorrect. UK and Anzac may land planes, because DEI is allied to them. It just needs to be occupied to gain its income.

You are wrong.
UK may not land planes on DEI before they are at war, because DEI are neutral. But since DEI are pro-allied neutral and friendly, Uk may debark land units on DEI without provocing war.
When Japan attack UK, or ANZAC, or DEI or USA, then everybody is in a state of war, and then DEI is allied to Uk, and then UK may land only planes there.

this has confused me also…KriegHund…we need your clarifications…
-
UK and ANZAC may land planes on Dutch and French territories when either:
a) they take control of them, or
b) they are at war. -
Thank you all.
