Request for origonal board game rules

@Death_FromAbove When you say “meet me” what does that entail exactly? I play by forum for the most part so is that what you mean? Or are you thinking of playing live?

My preference is the following: 2nd edition rules, no bid, RR, no IC (all rules from the OoB rules)
+strict neutrals (as mentioned in my YouTube video)

I haven’t played 3rd edition since the computer game came out. In my opinion that would be quite a different game than what I’m familiar with. If you insist though, I’ll play a Utah with you if you play my pref above?

now…what is the best way to hook up with someone for a game online?

Yes, I tried setting the volume to the lowest setting, but that did not solve the devilry. I have, however, noticed that the games runs at acceptable speeds in single player mode. It’s only in multiplayer that it takes a big shit. Whether I host or just join does not affect that. It is bogged down regardless.

After playing both versions, by far the Iron Blitz version is much much better, if not for the simple fact you can basically setup the game in any manner you wish. Just having the marines changes the way you do things in the game, the way you think thing through and whatnot. Plus as a bonus the AI isn’t completely horrid, it still is dumb and can be destroyed rather quickly but isn’t as bad as in just plain A&A.

first of all, the england taking was an accident. secondly, without all of the capitals, (except maybe russia) there’s not much of a chance of either side winning. the only reason we used the rule above was to lengthen the game a little.

In 2nd edition rules – a surviving fighter in this scenario can only land if an island (completely surrounded by water) exists in that SZ.

In 3rd edition rules – when an aircraft carrier is sunk. The surviving aircraft on it can attempt to locate and land on a friendly island, territory, or aircraft carrier. These aircraft have one movement point to do so.

I guess some people are just different that way. Way to stand out of the crowd. :smile:
