You done any other projects Viracocha? Since the AA50 one?

Yeah, for HOTTs (Hordes Of The Things, game with standard characteristics for each army’s unit type - but each army can be of any ‘theme’.).  I made a Prussian steampunk army which I’m particularly proud of - did a lot of modifications, and I painted my gal’s fairy tale army (both 15mm metals).  Actually, had the minis for ages but only just recently completed them (a move stalled me for a bit) I’ll try to get some pics.  They’re not A&A though - should I post 'em anyway?  Maybe I’ll do it on a different site and link it.

Eh eh eh - I am the same!  I do some writing in my spare time - what little there is of it.  So a lot of other forums and blogs call for my attention as well… about time I make a hub.  The closest I have to an online HQ is my author profile on Goodreads - which just doesn’t cut it.  Think I’ll follow your lead and do the same.  That blogger site serving you well?

Couldn’t agree with you more about when you see all the painted minis ‘in-game’, looks awesome.  Thanks for posting the exact names of the paints you used… running out of options for gray but I noticed you use a few I don’t have, gonna try some of those shades as well.

Still haven’t gotten around to whipping up a site for my painted minis… time, need more of it.  I like yours - good stuff.   :-D

Whilst on the topic of painting, i play Warhammer Fantasy and love to play but hate the painting so paid an overseas company to paint my stuff.  They did a good job and were priced well.  Maybe i should get them to paint my AA minatures too.  If your wondering who they are you can find them at wwwdotpaintedfigsdotcom

I want to have all my Italians (FMG and OOB) done in light grey (to make them easier recognizable as opposed to the Soviets), anyone know some company who could do that at a reasonable price? Doing it myself is not an option since I could mess up even something as ‘simple’ as painting them all one color, nor do I have the patience to do it myself.

Try Historical Board Gaming dot com. He has single-color painted A&A pieces so I know he knows how to do it.

Those are fantastic, Captain. I like the British naval units - good colouration.

I also noticed your aircraft stands that have a small “footprint”. May I ask what you used, or did you make them? They look like the perfect size.
