It would be easy to mark them, you could simply tip them on their sides like in revised / classic 2 hit battleships.
I think I’ll try this, but I will still require that payment be made to repair them.

To All,
The rulebook in the Guadalcanal set has an error on the reinforcement points. Per Avalon Hill:
http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=ah/article/ah20071115a
RULES ERRATA
Reinforcement:
The rulebook states that players get 5 reinforcement points, plus 2 per island they control. This is incorrect due to an error in the rulebook. The correct reinforcement scheme is that each player gets 10 reinforcement, plus 4 per island they control. The game is playable either way, but Avalon Hill recommends playing the correct way (10 and 4 per). We are sorry for any inconvenience this causes.
Mods could we get a sticky on this, please?
Most releases have this corrected.
Just to make sure I got the right spin, there are six islands in the game, right? Or are there eight (counting the two base islands)?
The base cards don’t count as islands for reinforcement purposes, so there are six.
I thought something was messed up,it just didn’t seem right to have so little production capabilities.
Here’s the FAQ and Errata in an easy-to-print pdf file. I fixed the spelling and grammar errors to the best of my ability. Wizards really sux with that.
See attached.

Always gotta one-up me. Thanks for the added clarifications.
