@RisingSun I had similar experience, I was big into the naval miniatures but couldn’t afford both. I bought a lot on ebay a year or so ago and have played a few games. It is not difficult to learn especially if you are familiar with the navy side, it’s pretty similar but includes facing. I think it’s a great game and wish I had collected it some when it was active.
Quick clarification

One quick question, and then the thread is moot:
Can you have more than one of the same units in an army, or must the army be completely eclectic?
And if so, is there a limit to how many of the units can be repeated?Ok, that was 2 questions.

I think you can have as many as you can afford to field. ( assuming it doesn’t violate a maximum unit restriction) like 15 units for 100 points.
-
That’s correct as many as you want within the limits; points and unit number limits.

Didn’t they make some of the units one per force? The heroes I thought? :|

LOL, you got me there, but heroes say on the card that they are one per army.

I think my confusion came in because I thought that it wasn’t on the card that they did it as a correction. I don’t play the land minis but still tend to glance through the forum here and at AH and it can be a lot of information.
