Moving out of contested territories

Has anyone tried my tactic page 1 and 2?

Also confirming Italy.  Minor neutrals (not aligned) having multiple friendly forces, control needs to be “negotiated” amongst the players.  With minor “aligned”, that is the deciding factor.  Note, if control were to change to the CP player, and then recaptured by France - France would have control.

Yes you can. You are supposed to announce to the other players if you are making an amphibious assault (resulting in combat this turn) or an amphibious reinforcement (with NO combat in the contested territory this turn).
What’s more, if you do an amphibious assault, accompanying battleships can conduct shore bombardment and any defending artillery can take shots at your landing units. With an amphibious reinforcement, your battleships do not bombard and the defending artillery do not take shots at your landing units.

Battleships and defending artillery do not fire if you are offloading to a contested territory whether you conduct combat there or not.  They only fire if you offload to a hostile territory.

The point of the sentence I quoted is simply to differentiate “regional territories” from “colonies”.  Regional territories can trace a line through contiguous original territories back to the capital, while colonies are removed from the capital.  The only difference this really makes is that colonies of minor powers are handled a little differently than their capitals.  Since minor powers don’t have regional territories anyway, this sentence is more about “flavor” than anything else.
