Yes, art is a wonderful unit for the ruskijs. I guess either you try to prevent the intrusion in E Poland with tanks or such to prolong the DOW to G3 or you can just let it go.

Some nice perks to germans having yugo. Also, g3 dow means no war with russians so extra NO for germany and minus a NO for russia. And G2 or G3 doesnt really make a difference in getting to Ukr or breaking through Rostov. Nothing wrong with G2 but G3 works just as well.

That’s probably true. I’ll have to contemplate it. My idea is just to start to get Russia’s income down asap. The land leases aren’t in effect during R2, so only 3 IPC extra that turn, while G maybe can lock down on W Ukraine already in G3. But you may very well be right that it’s not realistic and G has to hold in E Poland for one turn anyway while awaiting reinforcements.
