L20 #1 trulpen (X) vs Amon-Sul (A+7) BM3

  • And I rolled the dice. If you happened to roll any, they’re invalid. Right?

no , i thought u wanted me to sank the ships, and the dices automatically rolled, i posted immediately, and they should count.
tehnically the defender rolls its dice.

but we are not doing it cus its too slow, and virtual of course

I don’t agree with this. Technically in triplea the attacker rolls all dice. When looking at the position, the defender should not click anything, but just evaluate and make a decision. Atleast that’s how it always goes. You agree?

Yes, that’s why there is this custom of attacker doing it all, but also to avoid situations like this, when double rolls are made.

but i thought u wont me to sank the ships, and the diceserver rolled automatically. tehnically neither of us rolls, but the server. but as in aa board game, tehnically i have the right to do my dices. but i think its not issue here, but which dices rolled first.

i think usa did. i would have any problems if it was the other way around and u rolled it. it doesnt matter who roll it , but the matter is what is rolled. at least i see it that way

yes, i agree, and i tell u i misread ur message, u said sink the ships then, i thought it was directed to me, why would i otherwise do it

and i didnt plan to roll dices, they rolled automatically

i thought that i ll remove my ships and repost the map with that decision that u wanted me that

i have no problem with that, but in case ur dices were rolled before mine, i withdraw my claim and agree to Ur retreat and nulifying my dice.

You may very well be right. I follow your logic, but don’t fully agree. Trying to contemplate it. I also don’t care which dice were rolled first or last.

What if your opponent goes in and rolls the battle when getting scramble options. Would it count?

  • According to my dicemail my dice were rolled 16.38 and yours 16.39. So, you are ok with that?

  • Well, first of all i ve rolled it by accident. Its first time in the game of 1000 times, because it was not deliberate.

Second, i dont have problems with my opponents rolling their rolls each round, except it would so slow the game we would be playing ages.

  • What does your dicemail say?

  • i ll go check
    wait

Yes, it can happen. My view is that a mistaken roll is not valid. But we don’t have to agree on that.

Yes, it would definitely take longer overall. Although not in situations like this when both are present, then it would take about the same time since the attacker needs to wait for a decision on causalties.

I think this custom is mainly to avoid conflicting dice. When the player who’s turn it is rolls all dice, there’s no discussion. Of course, it’s mainly about the definition of custom.
