New set up for Axis & Allies

In a no bid game, the allies WILL always win!(given that both players have equal skills) And a new player WILL always lose vs an experienced player, does not matter if he plays Axis or Allies.

Hello all,
at first sorry for my english, because I am from Czech republic. I have problem with my Axis and Allies game. I have played about 65 rounds now and in this time game typing error message something as “LOG file is full” and is impossible to continue with playing game. If I choose Load Game and click on saved game, the game starts as New game (on start). Folder with save games (Autosave and my 1 save) has about 50 MB. Thanky you for help !! thank you very much.

I would be all for it as I believe I could have been the biggest Command & Conquer junkie out there back in the day. It will remove some of the stratagy from the game, and I would be interested to see what they do with the units as in I would assume instead of America having just P-51’s and B-29’s there would be different fighters to buy at various cost levels, that could be cool. I guess it will all depend on the vision of the group putting this out, can’t wait for the first beta copy :D

The “when the Axis meet in Persia, they cannot be knocked off their inertia” is just a general rule of thumb, not some kind of victory condition! With that in mind, Morphling was just saying that when the Allies meet in Berlin, the game is probably in the bag for them, as the Axis generally can’t win on the force of 1 alone.

The only “official” victory conditions are military victory for the Allies (capture 2 enemy capitals); military victory or economic victory for the Axis (capture 2 enemy capitals, or have a combined income of 84+ IPCs at the end of any round of play). Anything else is a house rule or special rule…

Save it manually? LOL Yes, that’d be a bit tedious.

Unfortunately, I’m still stuck with the same problem, and re-installing the game hasn’t helped any. Does the A&A folder have a seperate sub-folder for saved games?

MSN’s Zone is a good place to play as long as you have the patch, and better yet it’s free.
