And a belated one to my Canadian friends as well :)

Happy Fathers Day to all the players with children (hope you’ve had the chance to play A&A with them).

Spent five hours playing A&A this Fathers Day with one son and the other son who is living the dream in Colorado sent me this drawing.  He wishes he was here playing as well.  It’s been great to share these games with them over the years and in the years to come.

I burn down the white house

What?? British North America burned the White House?

With Britain, yes.

Since Canada was a British territory, this was a british act

It was somewhat a separate colony

Canada wasn’t given any autonomy until July 1, 1867, which is what Canada Day celebrates. The Burning of the White House took place during the War of 1812 in 1814.

I never said Canada, I said British North America.

Yep, we were married on board the Kingston Lady on the Waccamaw River south of Conway, SC.  The cypress cove in one of the pics is where the actual ceremony occured.

We had a great wedding package… one check and most of it was handled… the location for the ceremony, our accomodations at a 4 star B&B, flowers, officiant…  everything but her dress, my tux, and the rings :-)  All we had to do was show up… Angel the day before, me the day of.
