‘Panther’ seems a logical successor to the preceding ‘Leopard’, but as far as animals are concerned, ‘panther’ isn’t a separate species - it’s a term often used for black leopards. And the official Latin names of all the big cats start with Panthera, including Panthera tigris. So from that perspective, a Tiger is a Panther.

does the lee work
my grandfather had a ww1 ross rifle along with some 1812 muskets but he pawned them all before he died -
Yup, it works, His(my friends) grandfather-n-law hunted with it…lol sick.

My Kar-98 works great I can keep a 1" group at 100 yards. It is more accurate then my M1 Garand.

I would like to own a German MG43 (though I’d settle with a MG34) but you’ll have to pawn over a lot of dough in order to get one. For now I’m content with my WII Thompson submachine gun and Mauser which each cost me less than $200.
Also, does anybody knows what happens to weapons and vehicles after a war? Are the infantrymen required to turn over all their weapons and munitions even if they want to keep a pistol or rifle for personal reasons? Can you request to buy the plane you fought in if you were a high scoring ace?

I always personally liked the German Africa Core uniforms. No real reason, just fits my tastes.
-
The Afrika Korps uniforms are great too but I think that the tan blends in a little too much with British and American uniforms… But I do like their goggles and caps!
-
something about that hat and kool afrika insgina.
i live in NY by the way.
-
Wait… wasn’t the Afika Korps insgina a Palm Tree with a Swastika over it!?
-
yup…it has that cool green yellow color.
-
I started to build an Afrika Corp. Uniform but I never finnished. I have pants, shirt and hat, but no patches.
-
I’m sure you can find replicant patches on the local internet store or auction.
-
Oh, I have sources I just lost interest when I quit the reenactment thing.

Nothing beats the Sovies in their White smocks.

You should use paint ball guns when reenact WW2 battles.

but playing paintball ww2 styles sounds very cool.

Well in California, we have World WWII battles using “paintball guns” all the time. Last time I heard, there was a small scale D-Day invasion. The Germans ended up winning.
