  • The US subs was something I wanted to try out after losing London to cut the Axis income. I think the problem was that losing London on G3 meant USA had to go strong Atlantic for a long time which has left Japan unchallenged. I think the European Axis would be f****ed in the long term if it weren’t for the fact that Japan is on the brink of moving from unchallenged to unchallengable!

    I think Britain did very well neutralising Italy but I should have supported the Brits with America in the early couple of turns. The good thing for my learning curve is that this game has shown that losing London isn’t necessarily game over for the Allies  :-)

  • Yeah.  Good game.

    I wasn’t sure if you were going to have Anzac take Phillipines and extend another turn.  Don’t see any way to hold out beyond that.
