Can't be logged in on more than 1 computer at a time

Search was causing the DB to crash sometimes. So instead of getting an alert in the middle of the night, I’ve set it up so that the servers should restart on their own.

If you all need help navigating the Reddit culture, I’m happy to assist.  I’ve been on Reddit for two years, and I know more or less how it works.  I don’t hang out on r/boardgames or r/axisandallies specifically, but I know the site as a whole.

I agree with what others have said - it’s a very strange place.  Very strange.

Eh, I can see how you can come close if you’re doing round 2 or 3 of a large battle, because then all you need to do is @ a couple times. If you’re a faster typer you can breeze through it.

But still, not generally a problem for me.

Did you choose to login “forever?”

Also, what browser were you using? If you use IE and click the shortcut to open a new IE window, your cookie most likely will not get picked up by the new window. It is a common IE problem, try it on Yahoo! Login, click IE from the Start menu, and then go to Yahoo! and you’ll see in the new window you are not logged in.

Check your cookie settings.

I was logged in, entered a note on one forum, hit the Forum Index button at the bottom of the page, picked another forum, made an entry and when I looked it was credited to Guest.
It only happened the one time and only on this site/forum.
