Crazy! Especially after my AAA didn’t hit at all.
Didn’t we agree on a LL reroll? Anyway, if you want, we can reroll it with LL and continue the game then. I feel I don’t deserve this win yet, with this dice luck.
I don’t think we agreed on a low luck reroll, and in any case I wouldn’t feel good about taking the battle away from you just because you (massively) lucked out, as painful as it was for me.
What I may take you up on, is continuing the game from the point at which I should have retreated my forces but just started being stupid since I had given up, ie. after you rolled 8/13 I should have retreated 5 planes since the odds were way in your favour at that point.
If you’re OK with that, I may be up for continuing. I say “may” because I would need to analyze the board one more time before going ahead, as this would be a massive uphill battle for me and the Russians are about to run rampant while I would need to use up most of my forces to take UK next turn.
In all honesty, if we only agree to continue from the point where you should have retreated, you might as well give up. I don’t see how you would be able to build a new force AND hold against Russia.
Remember, you can only retreat the planes…
But really - you don’t need to feel bad about accepting the reroll offer. I’m 100% fine with it, absolutely. If it helps you accept it, we could grant me a future LL reroll option as well.

Well that is extremely generous of you - particularly in light of the fact that I’m being honest that I would stick with the original dice results if I was in your shoes. I’ll of course give you a LL reroll option on any one battle of your choice during the rest of the game in return for this. So I accept!
I could have taken UK next turn (assuming lightning didn’t strike twice!) by placing my units in W. Germany/Normandy but it would have been extremely thin on the ground in Europe for the next few turns.
I’ll do my revised NCM / placement tonight. Thanks again for the unsolicited offer.
