  • I think that I lose.

    I could keep going, but you’re going to get Isengard in a minute, then Ruhn… Then Mordor…

    I played really poorly. Wasn’t great as Isengard, and THe Goblins should not have split their army, and focused more on the west side of the Misty Mountains, so you couldn’t get Moria…

    That was quite pathetic of me actually. Despite being a big Lord of the Rings fan, I actually don’t really like this map. Maybe it is because I’m a big Lord of the Rings fan, or maybe it’s because I lost…


  • The key was Rohirrim cavalry moving 3. That makes too difficult calculate all possible attacks. Wizards and elven hunters moving 2 also hurts

    The map itself is not the worst. The problem is that too many unit types move too much for a Middle Age setting (even trolls move 2). Also there are odd things as ‘hobbitss’ and goblins attacking at 0 (then support, but…). Elves buying hobbits is indeed odd… hobbits should be a purchase just for Free People. Oh, and Goblins should have one starting Balrog, BTW (but they should not be able of buying more, those dudes died badly at end of First Age)

    Well, at least the turns are easy to do. But I agree, this module needs some improvement

    Some of the recruitment option seem weird. Dwarfs with cannons and battleships!? What?!
