    I was hoping to walk out with at least 10-16 air. The average was 17 units (was thinking 3-4 ground survivors). I lost too much there. I can’t push much more just that.

    plus germany is not in good shape. I can attack your 4 inf 2 aa gun stack with germany and still stay stacked up next to you. Get some bombing going. pump inf on ukraine. Still not going to be enough. Not with air potentially coming in to help russia.

    That that smart putting up multiple attacks for Japan.  Some people retreat India, I do that sometimes, but usually I prefer to do this as well. If you get good aa gun hits and good defense rolls, you can really dent Japan’s air like in this case and walk away from the game.

    Germany was too weak to consider other options. I wanted to keep enough ground alive to hold india and also to make a run for anzac right after.

    GG yes. I picture japan as a giant with an axe and the allies as 5 thin guys with knives. When the giant swings the axe he is destined to knock down one of the guys with knives, but then the 4 others must be prepared to stab his back when he is open.

    Yeps, I could not play it safe. I had to put bare minimal to hold up Japan. I probably should have moved to Manchuria when I setup for India, so if I did end up pushing for a VC win, I could move down to hold some.

    I still thought of stabilizing if you did do some manchuria play. Drop a major and all of a sudden Siberia is up for income grabs.

    I only walked out with 6 air units, needed 6 more to survive. I could do something crazy, but the odds are so slim without the extra air, plus that is less I have to work with to do fun stuff.

    Germany will need to start stacking Berlin now, and US free to pick up all islands and get stinking rich. Btw 4UK bombers go bryansk, uk buys carrier 3trannies. Attack on berlin with 6air and 10 ground units possible next turn.

    You could attack russia, but that would be very counterproductive as mongolia would activate and chance of VC win is zero. Then US would go crazy in the atlantic and kill germany of in a hearthbeat. Italy should be earning 4-5 soon enough due to super convoy. Japan income would also be greatly reduced.
