Sorry again. I wanted to get my turn in before my nonstop work days away from home but site was down. I have periods of days where it just isn’t feasible to make a play (and my partner is in the same boat on those days). Then I have days where I have too much time. Makes turn based play difficult!

I know it’s way early on in the game… but I have to call it boys.
How does each side plead?

Well it is like this. They havent faced quite the bad luck we did in our first round gamet it hasnt been very good for them. WHen looking at the game, consider that UK is about to go and will declare war on Japan. We will be collecting at least 70more IPCs than them by the end of the turn and have over 750IPCs more unit value. We control the Atlantic with the Allies and the US JUST entered the war. It is a luck win, but it is a win for us I believe, Crazy tourney. I was so excited for it, and have now seen crazy luck dictate both games early. I hope to get a good game in at some point.
Well fought my worthy opponents. If you have any interest in continuing the game for fun or perhaps challange us to a rematch we will be willing!

My gut and secret observers are also saying allies. But I want to hear from the AXIS. If they are willing to submit it’s lost, they can resign with a dignity that won’t soon be forgotten (And continue the game seperately).

I’d like to back up Infrastructure in saying that our opponent had some rough dice early on in this one. The British presence in the Atlantic comes directly from the early turn bad luck.
The UK was about to pincer SZs 91 and 92 from inside the Med and from Canada. The foundation of multiple Battleships and Cruisers would have formed the backbone for the US to start sending a great deal of material to N Africa, and from there go either north or into the Med.

I apologize both myself and my partner haven’t been around as much as we would have liked. I’ve been swamped with some new business stuff that has made it quite difficult.
There’s various ups and downs to both sides at this point, but I agree that the UK fleet survival was the nail in the coffin on this one. Additionally, I know that our team is mostly responsible for the lag in playing this game out. For that reason alone, I think it should go to the Allies. I can’t completely speak for my partner, but for the tournament, I’ll concede. Just not enough time right now to keep up with this.
With that said, however, I am willing to keep attempting to play out this game for the fun of it and see where it goes. Just know that there’s days where I don’t have a damn bit of free time and those days are increasingly common right now, but I will try to keep up as best as I can.
