How/where does everybody store their games?

Volko Ruhnke took a lot of ideas from Twilight Struggle.  But the two do play quite differently from each other despite their similarities.

I was refering to regular ol’ Victory.  I have Pacific Victory but I haven’t played it.  It’s combat system is based on regular Victory.  It does look like an interesting game.

Is the Lord Of The Rings online game worth downloading and playing? Is it more than Runescape?

I’ve heard a lot of people recommend it, particularly since it was free.  I’ve seen a lot of Top 10 MMOs of the past few years include it in their list.

Probably the best strategy game that requires you to “know” your opponents, if you can still find it is Samurai Swords/Shogun.

One of the BEST games ever…  if you can still find it.

I just got rid of my copy not too long ago along with my old copy of the MB game Conquest of the Empire.

I’ve thought about using it in AAE, but then I relized that I could only use the small infintrie type units as most others (Tanks mostly) were too large to fit in 1 teritoirie.

That’d be in interesting thing to do though, you’d have to have quit a few AAM though.

If you want a good Vietnam board game, try out Vietnam 1965-1975.

It is a hex based game, using counters for playing pieces. The game is from the 80’s and you’ll find it on Ebay.

For sure, no game depicts the vietnam war better - with hidden units, ho chi minh infiltration routes.

Beware though, that the Grand Campaign 65-75 takes hundreds and hundreds of hours to play. However, there exist about a dozen smaller scenarios (like the Tet offensive amongst others).

I’ve always found the history of the War card game quite interesting, especially when you compare it to Solitaire. War is one of those classic card games that is so simple yet engaging, much like Solitaire. Both games have been around for ages and have a sort of timeless appeal. War is straightforward and fast-paced, which is great for quick, casual play. Solitaire can be more relaxing and requires a bit more thought, which can be very satisfying when you finally win. Both games have their charm and offer different kinds of enjoyment. War might not have the depth of solitaire, but it has its own appeal in its simplicity and the way it can quickly decide a winner. I think both games have survived for so long because they are easy to learn and play, making them accessible to everyone, regardless of age or skill level.
