Siberian Minor IC

I’m using a house rule from an expansion set for the Global War 1936-1945. The rules didn’t translate very well to the A&A Global 40 game so I wrote some of my own. I have a video which will explain the rule that I will give you a link for. I also made a chart to use the tokens that you get with the set.I’ll provide a link to download the chart if you are interested in using this rule. The file is a re-writeable WORD file so you can change the rules to whatever you want them to be.It only cost me about 6 bucks to have the file printed on both sides and laminated.

I’m a big fan of minor axis allies and felt the same rules could be applied to allies also.

I see UK w/ Canada and Union of S Africa as minor allies
I see FEC w/ Anzac and DEI as minor allies
I see USA w/ Brazil as a minor ally

I am going to give this a try next time we play.

Is this thing still alive.

So I’ve been reading on Wikipedia about the Minor nations involved in WW2. I mean we all know that just about every nation in the world sided with the Allies by the end of the war so I don’t really like reading about them. However I find the Axis cooperators facsinating.

So from reading about them I decided to add them to the game as a house rule. They include Finnland and the Minor Axis (Hungary, Romania, and Bulgaria) for Germany and Manchukuo (yes it was a puppet state but it did have it’s own military) and Siam for Japan. Now these provide a boost to the Axis so only use them if they need a handicap or if you find a way to add some bonuses to the Allies.

I won’t post the rules yet because I’m not finished with them but give me your opinion. Also this will not effect the Major Axis income or troops placement. Also each nation will have two NOs and two NAs. Plus I will make rules for the Dutch Forces too and MAYBE the Communist Chinese for the Allies.

I was wondering if it would imbalance the game or add to it if there were locations where nations could build only inf on a territory as if it had an IC.  For example, I would allow the UK to do this on Egypt, India, Australia, and Canada.  I’d remove one of the Russian ICs and make it function in this manner, or perhaps all but the one on moscow.  Also, allow Germany to use Algeria, and either Norway or Finland in this manner.  Thoughts?

yeah you could just let any territories with 2+ IPC deploy infantry
its easier for gameplay to have a system than to short list territories

At least Avalon Hill releases Diplomacy.
