While watching NCIS season 8 episode 16 last night, I noticed a comment that the guy “preferred the Axis” according to fingerprint analysis. I froze screen and determined that in fact they were discussing an Axis & Allies game. It took a moment to see the game as it was upside down and barely open, but this is another cameo for A&A.

They didn’t say nice things about the guy who “preferred the Axis” FYI…

For more information on the Nike Missile program the Nike Missile society (nikemissile.org/) has all the information you need to know. Also as I look over my last post I see that I accidently typed 87c instead of 88c. Sf-88c is located on Wolf Ridge in the Golden Gate National Recreation Area. The road that used to lead up to it has washed out in several places so you have to hike to get to it. The previous website has some information on it but I am not sure if it is up to date. The imagery from Google earth is from 2009. What I have gleaned from Google is pretty much location, how to get there, and what the condition was several years ago. Also I found a source saying that one of the towers that a radar dome used to be positioned on is collapsing, which Google earth doesn’t show.

that and its not so clean anymore.  all pro sports seem to be going down the tubes.  thats why i’m an ardent supporter of college athletics, and want nasty pro slime to keep away from the kids until they are out of college.  but hey, thats me.

Ultimately, it’s about the money.  For just about everyone involved.  Some players are great athletes, but it seems like the advertising creep has definitely taken some soul out of it.  I think in the case of college that we just about get the same thing, except those kids don’t get paid to be in the same position as the pros.

on the subject of baseball, any of you guys ever been to omaha for the college world series?
