All I have to say is C O O L !

I’ve been following this issue for sometime now.  And as a matter of sharing a “historical event”.  I thought I’d post this link here for everyone’s review.

For a time, “Defense Distributed” could only print some parts of a firearm.  Now it looks like they’ve finally put together the entire package in a prototype! (Minus ammunition of course…)

Things seemed kind of civil to me but maybe I missed an explosive hostile rant from someone? Damn if that’s the case I feel like I really missed out.  :-(

I didn’t know it was illegal to live in one state and have a license plate from another, at least under certain circumstances.  I call BS on that part.  You can buy a car from someone in another state, and have the license plate until it needs to be renewed.

Actually no.  I most states you are required by law to transfer the pate within 30 days of your change of residence.  This is usually not strongly enforced, except in states where Property Tax is levied on vehicles.  There they tend to be a bit picky about it since it means cash for the government coffers.

the press turned it into more than a hack job.  They might of been honest but the media was to fired up to bash on the white house, any showing of responsibility would have been suicide. Without the media storm it might of happened, but the media was waiting and drooling for the chance to try and run out whoever they could.

It’s been done this way since it started.

Do you really think that with, let’s say, a 1 to 10 vote majority in the US House of Reps. any party in power wants to throw away their majority? Give it time and it will happen… say in California as businesses and citizens tire of paying increased taxes to pay off a 36 BILLION $ debt.

What are we to do? Create a 5 member panel in each state to gerrymander their states and another one for the US redistricting?
Let’s see…each committee must consist of 1 registered Democrat, 1 registered Republican, 1 unaffiliated conservative, 1 unaffiliated liberal and 1 unaffiliated moderate.
But who determines what an unaffiliated moderate is? Who represents the first time voters? What about states where there are 1 registered Democrat, 1 registered Republican, and 3 unaffiliated liberals? What about the Libertarian or Green Party representation?
Think of the permutations with only 5 members on a panel! AAARG! You do the math.

I henceforth declare myself an independent! Heh! Heh! Heh!

My Goverment would be a Capitalistic Socialism. Everyone lives in kind of a “Kibbutz” system, one of the decent things to come out of Israel. Children live away from their parents, but still in contact with them. Education is totally free, ranging from Preschool to Univercity level. During this time, you are required to undergoe a small term of Military training. If a war should break out, both sexes can be drafted, and this will serve as kind of a “Pre Boot Camp”

The Government issues all graduates a sum of cash, to be used to buy property, start a business, ect. To pay for this, Income Taxes will be high, in the 70% range. Throughout your life, Health Care and Legal Care is paid for in full by the Government. If you need employment, the Government will find you a suitable job.

Elections will be held exactly like the US Goverment’s. The media is free, and censorship (without permission) of any kind is illegal. Religion will take absolutely zero part in the Government.

Physcologists have done studies over and over… Children learn nearly everything from there parents… Would alternative “school’s” be available?
In my opinion Geurrilla’s are a better form of defense :wink: …like the free cash…but why just kill Income tax and give your citizens a boost in the work force…If you give all those benifits you will have to Inflate the money supply like crazy… do you want Hyper-Inflation and Mach 177 velocity…
