@a44bigdog:
Stoney I seem to be experiencing the same issues jim010 had with regards to the convoys. Putting control markers in captured countries does adjust the IPCs correctly but many of the NO boxes do not do anything.
I updated my EXE to .80 and then installed your Pacific 3.1 I also have your older Beta version which shows up completely separately so v3.1 should be functioning correctly.
Have I missed something are is there still a bug to be fixed?
Hi, thanks for posting. As of right now, the latest ABattlemap can only be downloaded through the link in my first post to Atti’s P40 Module (which also includes the .EXE). It is actually a later version than .80, although the “about” window was not updated (it should be 80.0 KB, as opposed to version .80’s 78.0 KB). If you do indeed have the latest version of ABattlemap, and the name of the module that you select in the “New” drop-down menu is “Pacific 1940 v3.1”, and you haven’t changed any of the related Start.AAM files, then your convoy disruption should be working (is it not? I’m not sure I understand from your question if you are having trouble with the new convoy disruption feature).
Adding or removing flags in most NO boxes (exceptions are “US Oki+ Iwo”, US at-war NO, and ANZAC’s 1-time NO) will not affect your Infoview, since with version 3.x the Infoview oil income (with the exceptions) is actually dependent upon the actual criteria for receiving the income in rules of the game. For example, placing a Japanese flag on India gives Japan an additional 8 total income - 3 for “IPC” and 5 for “Oil”, regardless of what flag, if any, is on the marker.@Stoney229:
_I recommend still putting flags on the NO markers, particularly for giving your opponent the pleasure of deleting it when they break your NO ;). It is possible to remove this feature if necessary without affecting compatibility, but since I wasn’t aware of any pertinent rules modifications, I did not see the need to provide this option. Let me know if you do.
Please respond and let me know if this does or doesn’t solve your problems. As always, feel free to offer any other questions, concerns, suggestions, comments, problems, or bug reports. Thanks!_
