Global 2nd Edition Transport Capacity

Greetings  All,

In Axis & Allies Global 2nd edition, how many total infantry can a transport carry?  Is it 2 or 3 infantry units?

The wording in the rules is a little confusing.

It can carry maximum of two units. It can carry two infantry, or one infantry and either an artillery or a tank with the infantry, and there maybe other combinations I’m not thinking of such as mechs and AAA guns that can be carried with an infantry.

Someone that has more experience can help me here.

PS I guess I should ask, are you talking about the transport ships or planes?

Are you talking about Global 1936 or 1939, because if it involves one of these, it could make a difference, depending on which type of transport plane you have?

I was referring to the transport ship for the 1940 Global 2nd Edition.

OK, that is what I thought, because this particular forum is for the variant Global 1936 and 1939 game. The 2nd edition 1940 Global forum is more in the middle of the first page, but I think I answered your question, OK.
