They are classic 1/72 scale.
That is really impressive! Very nice
Fellow A&A Gamers,
––The purpose of this thread is to share the A&A units that I’ve had painted and/or detailed for me with everyone else. I hope you enjoy them and/or possibly get inspired by them to paint your own.
––After seeing some awesome A&A Infantry units painted with their respective national ensigns on their bases by a very talented artist known as “Allworkandnoclay” I decided that I wanted to have a large, complete set of painted and/or detailed Axis & Allies units for all of the countries.
----I then added to that the new units so far produced by
Historical Board Gaming and Field Marshal Games.
––Also, there will be some completely new types and some ‘custom-modified’ units including many new paint schemes.
----I myself am NOT the detailer/painter. I am the customer with the ‘ideas’ that pays for everything.
----Thus far I’ve enlisted the help of three very talented people.
(1.) Chad Coffman, a.k.a. “Allworkandnoclay” who is no doubt known and revered by everyone here on A&A.Org that have experienced his painting talents. He is known especially for his awesome Infantry units with their bases painted with their country’s national ensign. Chad will be concentrating on most, if not all, of my Infantry-type units as well as my Major and Minor Industrial Complexes and Anti-Aircraft Guns.
(2.) Sgt. Wil Tan, a.k.a. “SgtWilTan” who does an unbelievable job custom detailing/modifying all types of A&A units as seen on his A&A.Org thread. Any unit of whatever type that isn’t exactly correct,…he’s modifying them to be exact. With his talents we will able to make some completely new types/models of A&A units. Stay tuned as this should be exciting!
(3.) Lucas Hoffman, a.k.a. “LHoffman” who has an excellent painting talent as you can see from his A&A.Org thread. It’s amazing the minute details this young man can accomplish with his brush, like cockpit framing on aircraft! All I can say is “Wow”!
––Our “WARMACHINE TEAM” has many projects almost completed with literally dozens more in the que. There will be periodic updates as new units are completed.
––In response to some inquiries I’ve decided to ‘organise’ my units in this thread so everyone could more easily find them. I’ve listed the completed units, along with their “links” below them as well as units that are “In Progress”. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.
----Please see the AXIS & ALLIES UNIT LIST below for “links” to all of the COMPLETED units.

Cool - all in one place for my viewing pleasure :-D
Oh, cool. We got our own thread! :-D
“V”,
Cool - all in one place for my viewing pleasure :-D
––Yep, it’s all just for YOU, “V”. :-D
----Some people had asked me about my painted units and the new “stuff”. So I thought it’d be better to organise things a bit.
----You know, while I was typing this thread I realized that I hadn’t posted threads of many of my Infantry units, like the Anzac “diggers”, the Calcutta-based British “Jacks”, the Chinese, etc. Maybe I need to do so now as I don’t have a link to them for my thread. What do you think?
----BTW, I decided to use your description of our work as our 'gang’s new formal name;
“The WARMACHINE TEAM”.
––Hopefully this thread will get you “pumped-up” and inspire you to share some more pics of your wonderful paint jobs, Buddy(Hint, Hint). I will always enjoy them.
“Tall Paul”
What? You have some finished figs you haven’t posted? I feel deceived… neglected. hehe
I did start to post some old pics of the Italians I did for FMG (unfortunately, most of the photos I have are of them still in the processes, but pics none-the-less, was hoping Jeremy would post pics of the finished ones…). Have a lot of others to post, but the server won’t let me because the uploader is full…
BTW: the name is awesomely appropriate.
Lucas,
Oh, cool. We got our own thread! :-D
––Yep. It just seemed the best way to share the wonderful talents of you, Wil, and Chad and the excellent work you’re doing. Like I said before, this will not superseed your thread in the least bit, but add to it. I fully expect, and hope that you’ll share a pic of each your talented paint jobs on your thread as they’re done.

Oh, no worries. I just want to add to the buffet; the need to get credit for it is not that important to me. I will enjoy this just as much as the next person.

Hoff - one of the good ones.
Lucas,
Aww… shucks!
––Hmmm, it sounds like Gomer Pyle might be underneath that Israeli Urban Warfare Counter Terrorist mask?
----And although I know your humility is geniune, It’s important to me that you take your well-deserved bows for your work.
----BTW Lucas, are there any changes that you’d suggest for this thread?
----And how do you like our new team name,…The “WARMACHINE TEAM”. Veracocha mentioned it in SgtWilTan’s thread when he said it “sounds like a proper warmachine in the works”. I liked it, added TEAM, and “walaa”, our new name. The “WARMACHINE TEAM”. It kinda describes what we’re trying to accomplish, don’t you think?
“Tall Paul”
Everyone,
––I updated the “link list” with one to my British Calcutta-based Infantry. Enjoy!
“Tall Paul”
Keep up the good work guys
Georgemak1,
Keep up the good work guys
––Thanks, I’m glad you’ve enjoyed the units so far. All of the Infantry, so far, was painted by “Allworkandnoclay”. You might check back often as very soon we’ll have a LOT of units that Wil has already detailed and Lucas will paint. And like I previously said,…there are literally dozens of other units in the que.

I just got done looking at the British Calcutta-based Infantry again… loving them. 8-)

Nope no changes. Only the addition of pictures as Wil or I finish them, or as you want to upload them.
And I really do like the name; very fitting.

Wil,
––Wow! Awesome.

––I can hardly imagine how awesome these units will look after Lucas works his ‘majic’ on them.
