Im not talking about a digital Map, but a real one. I consider myself very artistically minded so I think I could do it without it looking too bad. What materials would I need, how much time would it take? I wanna do a global map from about 1920.
A&A Cavalry
-
I just finished painting a set of horse mounted german infantry and thinking of using them in my games. Im also in the process of painting a set of WW2 soviet cossaks. Any suggestions on values guys, Im planning on using a d12 system. Thx in advance.
-
Next to them is some HBGs US paratroopers, for comparison purposes
-
A big thanks to all the guys that paint your pieces. I always get a lot of great ideas by your hard work.

Nice looking units georgemak1! As for values for a D12 system might go with cost 3, movement 2, attack 2, defense 2. That’s assuming you play with infantry costing 3, attack 2, defend 4. The idea is to have a mobile infantry (same cost), and sacrificing defense to gain the movement. It’s an idea I’ve been playing with myself as I’ve been considering adding cavalry units.

I just finished painting the Russian Cossaks set. Now I have cavalry for Germany and Russia.
-
a couple more
-
If someone can pitch in for cost and value that would be great.
-
These are awesome! What size and company are these?
-
Thx Viracocha. They are 1/72 from Revell, 02514.
-
Very very nice - I love those uniforms. I have a 15mm Prussian army (painted) myself, but I miss working/being able to get in that kind of detail with 1/72 and the like…

I have been painting for about 2 years, and start using acrylic paints for the last 2 months. When I was getting started you were one of the people that inspire me to start painting my minis. I got a lot of ideas by looking at your pics. I hope more ppl will post pics of theirr painted minis, that way we can exchange ideas with each other.
