    I’m not sure of that sea battle, good or bad choice on my part. I took out your navy, but the entire American air force is left. And economically, I lost 15 more IPC’s than you, so its a toss up for me. What say you?


  • A good trade for you, if time was what you were seeking. In that case, it was magnificent. I have two carriers in the area to your 4 1/2, and your air power outnumbers mine as well. I’ll have to use other means for awhile to battle Japan, until my navy can regenerate. In the meantime, you have the freedom to retake the DEI and/or make life very hard for Anzac (or both).

    I never fully judge a turn until everyone had purchased, fought, and collected, to see what it’s like when all money has been spent equally. I’ll have a better idea of how this looks for you after the full turn  :-)

    Well, its an odd thing. I used the battle calculator, and it was highly in my favor, even against that giant swarm of angry US fighters. Calculating a complete win for me with only a 1/3 loss of material. I do realize that the dice always go the opposite way that you think, and I wasn’t banking completely on that calculator. However, I can see more and more as we play of what you said, that A&A is a strategy game with dice, not a dice game with strategy. It can certainly be infuriating, but so are the way of things. I would very much like to use the system that you and Infrastructure have developed. I know we’ve talked of it before, but lets shoot for the next game to use that.
