  • Well I guess that’s game over.  Nice job in Smolensk!


  • I actually looked around for an Italian bomber when I decided to leave just those 3 infantry blocking Smolensk.  I didn;t notice the one in West Germany.  The plan was that Germany would either go to Smolensk this turn or attack Bryansk with heavy losses, then Russia would either pull everything from Bryansk to Moscow or counterattack whatever you had left in Bryansk.  The punchline was to be an airbase in iraq and then a dozen or so planes reinforcing Moscow, liberation of Brazil and a transport build to start threatening London.  Ah well, another game lost.  Nice work with Japan throughout this game BTW.


  • will say a bit more later, for now: I dont want to keep you in the game if you dont see a way, but I dont think its over. Moscow will be taken back, and I would not be able to take it for some time, with allied planes not at all. But it certainly is very difficult now.


  • Well OK if you want to play it out I’ll stay in for another round or 2.  Allies in very bad shape though.
