GARGANTUA'S $200 TOURNAMENT OF EXTRA DEATH AND PAIN (TripleA Only) 2xELIMINATION

  • I would prefer a bid system to be honest with you.  :-D

So what happens if the final team from the winner’s bracket loses to the champions of the last stand bracket? Both teams would only have one loss. It seems a little cheap for the winner’s bracket champion to lose it all on one game when the last stand bracket champion already had their mulligan. I propose that if needed that the two teams would go head to head but switch who plays which faction. Keeping the same bid amount but allowing the new allied team discretion on how that bid is spent.

  • btw again it’s, Mountain High not MountainHIGH

Which side do you think is advantaged?

Under the expanded bracket, I explained your question Seth.

Basically, if you come out of the TOP/standard bracket, as the winner, you must be defeated twice.

Esentially, you could play the same team 3 times.

You beat them in an earlier bracket,  Then after winning all your games and going the distance, you lose to them in first round of the championship,  But because you’ve never lost a game, you play them again, and regain your status as the victor!

It’s posted right under the title…

IMO the final match should always be best of three. random faction, switch, random faction.

  • TripleA

Then again there is the time issue.

I woulder prefer loser bracket face off winner bracket in the finals 1 time. None of this got to defeat the winner twice non sense just so that everyone has had a mulligan. Life is not fair, you either are a champ or not.

  • TripleA

We all know Dairyqryn is going to win this, we don’t need chance in the final matchup.

Cow are you even going to win your first round game?

  • TripleA

unlike you guys, seth did not do a crazy gamble yet. Game is about to reach a conclusion in the next 3-4 rounds.

  • TripleA

when i said unlike you guys, I meant unlike your opponents.

  • TripleA

Seth is doing a good job of making us fight for our victory, he might pull it off, we will see.

  • TripleA

besides a little bit of smack talk in an extra death and pain tournament sounds about right.

All this talk about winning the tourney and meanwhile back in reality with the rest of us, you’re still in the midst of a very competitive game in round one.

You all might have the advantage. The battle for India will go off with a whimper with the withdrawal of the allies. But the war rages on. All I really need is one battle to go my way or a misstep on the part of the axis and the allies will emerge victorious!

  • TripleA

you need more than one battle to go your way haha.

  • oooo…love the trash talk. :-D

  • @Boldfresh:

Cow are you even going to win your first round game?

He’s referring to the last tournament in which you spouted pages and pages of trash talk then exited in round 1.

    What a moonstorous moostake.

  • TripleA

Hey I would have won that game if german fighters just hit their fours on defense… that was the saddest defense rolls I have seen in ages.

It is nothing compared to the major catastrophe that occured yesterday when pacman lost a split decision to bradley. G*d d**n Vegas decisions, I wonder how much money the judges got paid to give it to Bradley. That was retarded. Ugh, wish axis won WWII, the allies are retarded these days, oh well hindsight is always 20/20

Honestly, I think Seth is right.  The only “luck” we’ve had so far was in China (to which Garg gave Seth a BB for free, using rule #7).  I lost a good 1/3 of my japanese fleet to an ANZAC move two rounds ago, which means the USA fleet in the pacific is quite a bit larger than my own now.

Axis have the advantage right now, but we are really only 1 big mistake, or 1 diced battle away from being put at a disadvantage.  The game is far from over.
