    Also, I don’t want to intercept the bombers either.  AA then bombs away!


  • but yes you are correct. I could use all 5 fighters as interceptors, or use up to 3 of them to scramble and the rest as interceptors, but right now I am saving my planes.

    what I meant is, does my cover protect both the strats and tacs at the same time since same territory, or would I need to specify how many accompany the tacs and how many the strats?

  • Oh, OK.  You don’t have to specify which escorts go with which bomber or tac.  All of the attackers planes (fighters, tacs and bombers) roll and hit @1 and then all the defenders interceptors (fighters) roll and hit @1.  Then the surviving bombers and tacs pick targets, AA rolls @1 fro each plane, and then bombs are dropped.

    So yeah the same escorts cover the tacs and bombers.

    Vance, I dont know what happened right now, I posted my turn, I got a red warning message that there were two previous posts I had not read, and my post did not make it.

    Its too late to do all again, I send you the map now and will rewrite my NCMs if you want…tomorrow.

    Just pls do the damage marker thing, I am unsure how to do properly and would like to see first, thx.

  • If you look along the very top of the map, there are spaces where you can put your flag to keep track of NOs.  A lot of people don’t use them because the official rules for NOs haven’t been finalized yet and they seem to keep changing.  Anyway, this alpha 3 map came with the flag in the spot for Japan’s USA nonaggression NO.  I removed that flag so it won’t show up as “oil” in Infoview. I updated your IPCs too.
