I’ll fight them on the beaches, I’ll fight them in the small towns. I’ll fight them in the cities, and the hills. And I’ll fight them in 1939 or 1940.
Up to them, but that said, where is a link to all the new “rules” for 39? and is there a new map?

Just throwing this out there…. If we are going to go BIG… Anyone interested in doing Global 1939… Jeremy D6 varient with all the HBG and FMG Goodies included?

I may be interested in a game of 39 during day 2, after we crush team Gargantua in global day 1. However, I would need a small power and some coaching, as I have never played it before.

Only thing is that this game is EPIC. There will be no time to finish if we start on day two. TRUST ME
The great thing is it will be fair as we are all “rookies” when it comes to this varient. Need to rely on Overall AAA Strategic skill and Luck!! No pre-set strategies will help.

Japan
USSR & Communist China
USA & CHINA (Can be broken into Two Players/Theaters)
United Kingdom (Can be broken into two Players/Theaters)
Commonwealth (Canada & ANZAC)Otherwise I am still up for a game of Global 1940

War is always a contest between two unequal parties… ALL the Axis & Allies Games after AA50 are “unbalanced” due to their huge complexity. At FMGC 2011… The 1939 game was a hard fought AXIS VICTORY.
I played the Commonwealth and had a great time.

Lol, AFTER a Global 1940 game? We played ALL WEEKEND last year (1939 variant) and didn’t actually finish the game (we called it an axis victory when it appeared the axis had the upper hand after about 22 hours of play).
That’s the one reason I personally will not be dragged into a global 1940 or 1939 game this year, despite it being an amazing variation. Too many other games to try out!

The 1939 game is very big. You will have to commit to playing it both days… BUT you can still play another game at a side table while waiting for your turn.

Personally, i would prefer to stick to Global, and then play something else(or Global again) after we crush those Toronto kids.

I think I prefer to play one game at a time, and a few small games during the weekend instead of 1 big one, so I won’t be joining a 39 game this year, but I will be an interested spectator between my turns. If gargantua wants to play both games, can we set up our global table next to it? As for crushing the Toronto kids…… Hogwash.
