Okay…this version should have addressed some of the questions you posted (regarding mech infantry; fortress rule, Vichy unit movement, etc.).

That is why I asked them, we used the rules 1.6 and the axis blasted the allies.

I loved this game! Have one printed out also. I noticed that France in this game is Vichy!

The Vichy and free French are battling it out.
This global game is pretty massive.
We like playing it though.
