@snurkert the Germans really need to get the NOs or you won’t be able to fund the war… somehow you got Moscow but not leningrad or stalingrad??? You’re in the driver seat, but if you can knock out stalingrad and the caucasus region, there is 14IPCs, leningrad gets you another 7, then you just maintain parity with the japs against the yanks navy and run over egypt. you have a lot going for you, don’t blow it!
When going for Moscow as Germany...

Do you prefer amassing one large army and plodding along territory by territory?
Or do you like to split your army up into a bunch of smaller armies?
Or is it situational - some times large army, sometimes smaller armies? or some weird combo of one large army, one small army, etc.
If so for any of the options, what drives your decision?
-
As germany you dont have the option really, if russia plays defensive and stacks you either have 1 big stack or get taken out piece by piece.
If they really stack leninggrad hard you just go there first with your stack and take out the bigger part of their army.
1 big stack cannot really be held by russia, so soon you birdcage them and then you reinforce from 3 factories closeby where russia has only income for a few infantry.

Armor and Tac Air…dont pussy foot around.

@shadowhawk just for the sake of clarity, what is “birdcaging”?

Its where you pushed russia so far that they are really trapped in moscow. They cant attack you realistically and moving small forces out of moscow to take back some zones around it would only weaken them to much.
So they are trapped like a bird in a cage.

:)
Just hope the bird doesn’t get free :)
Unlikely that it may be :)

@ampdrive TY shadow.Sometimes it’s a tough bird in the cage and it’s best to keep it contained.
