@King_Of_Tanks when landing in an amphibious assault, each artillery fires on any amphibious units before the battle. In this case, the Austrians should have rolled against both infantry that came off the transport BEFORE the start of battle.
I will roll the dice now and rather than reroll the battle, my standard is to ignore the trailing dice of that column. In this case since the last two “twos” were both misses, this will change nothing except how many Italian infantry are left in the contested zone.
