Houston Area Players
-
@marc7778 We play Axis and Allies in the Tyler area of East Texas
-
@marc7778 I’m definitely down for some A&A, in the Houston area as well
-
I’m in Houston, looking for players too; if any of you all are still around, I’d love to catch a game.
Cheers,
Jon
-
@seancb I’d be interested in playing, if you are still looking.
-
@seancb I’m in the Houston area as well and definitely looking to play

@motterazo Want to meet up someplace? Maybe Tea and Victory, maybe Tuesday (10-12-21) at 6 PM? Weekends usually would be easier, but this weekend is my wedding anniversary, so it would need to wait a week.
Let me know your thoughts, or email me at jonhuffman1@hotmail.com.
Cheers,
Jon

@blueshoejon you’re a smart man. Wedding Anniversaries are important.
Reminds me of the guy that couldn’t go moose hunting one year because he was getting married. We all laughed and said when do you think your Anniversarry is gonna be ?
Could tell by his expression he hadn’t thought it through lol

@blueshoejon

I don’t mind joining, but prefer to meet in a public setting.
-
@mrodriguezjr @Mustang @Mr-Piper I’d be happy to play in Houston. If my count is correct, with Mustang’s friend we would be 5 people, which makes a good game.
For a public space, there is a board game cafe called Tea & Victory not far from my place which would work. 2030 E T C Jester Blvd, Houston, TX 77008 if you want to map it. Looks like they are open 11-8 on Sundays, 11-10 every other day but Monday (closed). I could do Sunday, if that works.
Cheers,
Jon

whats a good game that can be finished in one setting for 5 players? I’ve got AA1940 (too long), DDay, 3 players max, battle of France 3 players max, so it would have to be either play 2 days of 1940 which can be done in someones garage or where we can set it up, or one of the other games like 42
-
Sorry, was away…yeah I’m definitely down to play !!
-
@seancb I’ve played 1942 in one sitting before, and I’ve played IPC victory conditions on a 4 hour time limit before works fine. I’ve not really played much other than 1942 and the original from the 80s, just the 5 player world map versions. It can be done, with both of those.

I live a few minutes from NRG stadium in an apartment complex (Orleans at Fannin Station). I have a detached garage, but no tables or chairs. I also have the 1942 second edition AA.
-
I live in Katy I’d like to play

@mr-piper I’m buying a foldable table. I have two folder able chairs already. The game will be setup when you arrive. Let me know what day works best.
