CAP questions

I have a few questions on CAP.  Can a Fighter go on CAP from an Aircraft Carrier?  If so, can a Fighter fly from a Carrier in SZ18 to SZ17 to Patrol?  Do they have 1 movement space?  Thanks.

i haven’t played the game but i’m pretty sure the answer is no.  only from islands to water.

CAP is only from islands. Naval units in the sea zone would cause the same thing you would be using the CAP for– to stop enemy Naval movement.
