Here is another way you can play against the computer

Not too bad, except I can never figure out how to send troops across the ocean.

Hey Cody,
welcome.
Cody, do you know about vassal? It is a way to play military games without a physical board.
https://vassalengine.org/
@barnee
Germany was up against the massive industrial capacity of the USA. Just photos of germany from after ww2 show that the USA destroyed Germany. No matter what germany did theor insustrial capacity was demolished and the USA could keep producing more bombers. Germany would even run out of bullets and could not even fight on the ground.
@captainsquareyez
Just remember on thing.
The side with the most stuff wins…USA
The side that has spread his resources to thin always loses…Germany.
Hitler was very stupid to think that he can make war with everyone and win.
@andrewaagamer funny…great memories.
@captainsquareyez
welcome. Australia is a great country.Beautiful
all Axis and Allies games are great.
Fun and not overly complicated as many other war board games.
It is fun to use little soldiers and plane and tanks too, makes it fun.
I like d day…very easy to play yet realistic
@stuka80
WOW, you did at least have some adventure.
I would have been too afraid to jump from an airplane.
Welcome…I love Puerto Rico, a beautiful place. Went there on My honeymoon.
@eisenhower
At least now you can be a general, something few would obtain in real life. I Knew a man in the national guard that was a colonel and then he got promoted to general. I was so excited to actually know a general. He enjoyed my enthusium.
@stuka80
Sometimes make believe is better than the real thing. I never thought of that, I guess to be in any branch of the military you have to be fit for physically for service, I guess they couldn’t just give you an office job?
@nolimit Welcome Steve,
WOW you sound like a reak pro.
Have you ever played D Day?
@eisenhower or you can randomize one side as far as deployments go put deployment locations in a hat and draw them out, then you will not know what the other side is doing.
But actually, reasonably you can almost tell what the enemy will do. For example even the d day invasion, you can select normandy, or pad de calis, or even belgum
@eisenhower
The game setup is all spelled out. Then play each side as you are trying to win and the dice will determine the outcomes…
@wilsondog
you can play solo… just try to win what ever side you are. let the dice determine the finally outcomes.
@andrewaagamer
welcome.
The nice thing about axis and allies is the model soldiers and plane. ships, weapons that add an interesting component to the game. Cardboard chits seem to lose something.
I like d day.
The Germans were totally overwhelmed by the d day invasion.
Erwin Rommel who was in charge of the defense knew that it was hopeless even before the invasion began. It seems that by the time of d day, the allies had command over the skys of europe. And the germans were overextended in Russia.
Rommel Tried to explain it to Hitler. Who said he knew that he could not win, but he wanted the germans to die fighting anyway,
Great… Don’t be afraid of making a mistake with the rules. No police will come to the door… Just play as best you can. You will only realize you are not playing correctly when the German’s keep winning WW2.
Good question…
In this game everything takes place Once per turn. except when attacking then you have your turn to attack and the enemy to attack both in the same turn. has his turn. Then the results are resolved. Basically you have to wait until the smoke clears to do something else with your stuff. Makes sense, so that you can see what you have.
