Thank you. Had not seen that and was unhappy to contradict Kriegkund, but could not see any difference with what I had said. Now I realise without a japanese DOW against UK/Anzac a Japanese player could have moved through an occupied sea hex on its way to a Dutch territory. Now it cannot. Though, of course, my way and knowing I was provoking war with UK/Anzac, I would have attacked them too and, therefore, not moved illegally through a sea zone . You have to love Japan.
Question about winning
-
about winning:
1 Japan has to hold their VC until the end of the round or just the end of their turn?
2 the allies have to capture and hold Japan island for 1 turn. since all of the allies go AFTER japan, I am guessing it means they have to hold it until the END of the next japanese turn? Or they have to hold it until the beginning of the turn of the country that took japan?
can I take japan as america, Japan retakes their island during their turn, then I retake it during my turn, does that count as a win? what if I take it as ANZAC, japan retakes, then America retakes? -
Simply put, the Allies win if they control Japan at the end of Japan’s turn, and Japan wins if it controls six victory cities at the end of ANZAC’s turn.
