I seem to recall I used to have more of a plan when I played this in the past…though I guess its early, and it certainly was always the case that the first 10 turns as the units advance into the field always felt slow. Once enemy contact is made, that’s when it gets tense!
Agreed, it’s like a lot of battle games - both abstract and wargame types - first there’s a developing period, then the action!
