The school of agricutlture’s dean of admissions was interviewing a prospective student, “Why have you chosen this career?” he asked?

“I dream of making a million dollars in farming, like my father,” the student replied.

“Your father made a million dollars in farming?” echoed the dean, much impressed.

“No,” replied the applicant.  “But he always DREAMED of it!”

The irony for me was it was cheaper to move to a better school district than send my kids to private school.

I seem to recall one or more of the major networks going through financial struggles and having to cut the budget so the news wasn’t such a drag on the bottom line$$$$.

And now we may soon have Perky Katie Kouric(sp?) taking the anchor news_reader_ chair @ one network and the Survivor Celebrity Newstarget(who was set up for an assassination attempt by his own network) taking another news_reader_ chair.

I find, on average, that pacific is longer than europe. Why? Well if japan is winning its a 6 or 7 turn game. But if Japan is losing the game can last 10 turns. Europe mostly is a 7 turn game no matter who wins.
