I don’t get that last part though. So tipping them down shows the unit and the number of units is shown on the side facing the opponent?
Yup
This a map Ive been working on, a global map, with new rules I hope, but mostly based on Axis & Allies system. Hope you like it as much as I do.
Some developmets in this map…
:-DPretty cool! I wish I could see it in more detail. The only thing I would say is from this picture is Vichy France and China the same color?
Nice. A realistic axis and allies map.
Thanks :-)

The more detailed map showed better.
I was wondering why are the islands represented by blobs.
Now I see it. Its actually the border of the island groups.
Where did you get the base map?
Its very detailed.
Are you using a vector program?

The Islands need to be represented that way, because many are so small but part of a bigger group of islands.
The map I have for some years, only now I have a nice computer to work this out.
As to France and China they are 2 different blues, the are quite distinctive.
You should edit the topic name to something more descriptive.
This is not just “another map”. Its a realistic and detailed map.
Looks a bit like a satellite map by the way.
Alright! I love new maps and new game concepts - where can we downlaod this sucker? How big is it? What do all the dot’s mean?
The map ain’t done yet. For now the file is too big. The dots are just details, they represent cities or town in the railroad line. I guess its those dots you mean…
This map variant using Triplea engine (name of the game is Global War)

Hope you enjoy!

Houston…we have a problem…
Ok…the map is compete! Finally! BUT…
I saved the file as psd first without layers and…its 1,24 Gb… Then I tried saving as other extensions and could only save as .tiff. The problem is it didnt compress much as its still a 925 Mb file…
I cant save as .ai, the program I use doesnt have such extensions. The same with .png as the computer freezes while attempting…
Any ideas?
I had some problems with pando so I removed the files.
Already uploaded the map. Its in .psd (photoshop format)… download it here:
…
To download these files you need pando too, its very easy to install. Its the best choice I could do regarding the size of this map…
Where is “here”? could you post a link to the download.
Global War 2.0 is available for Triplea.
